Here you’ll find answers to common questions about our ABA therapy services.
How do I get started with ABA therapy?
Reach out to our team and complete an initial inquiry form. We will request an assessment authorization, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will conduct an evaluation of your child. Based on the results, an individualized treatment plan will be created.
Who provides ABA therapy, and where does it occur?
ABA therapy is provided by BCBAs and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and can take place at home, in a clinic, or at school.
What does a typical ABA session involve?
Sessions are tailored to your child’s goals and include a mix of structured and play-based activities. Our RBTs use positive reinforcement to encourage learning, and progress data is collected to be reviewed by the BCBA regularly.
Can I participate in my child’s ABA therapy?
Absolutely! Parent involvement is encouraged, and learning the strategies we use can help you support your child’s progress outside of therapy sessions.
Will insurance cover ABA therapy?
Yes, ABA therapy is often covered by commercial insurance and Medicaid. Coverage depends on your policy, and our team can assist with eligibility details.
What is the role of a BCBA and an RBT?
A BCBA creates treatment plans, while an RBT implements those plans under the BCBA's supervision. Both work together to support your child's progress.
